When we talk about culture, music, influence, trend setting and branding - we could ONLY ever be talking about one island 🇯🇲 I was in GREECE and there were Jamaican flags painted on ceilings in shops 😏 lol. 60 years of independence for the land we love, representing 60 years of tenacity, family, legacy, creativity, innovation, and the list continues. When my maternal grandparents came over to England from Jamaica in the Wind rush - my grandmother a fully qualified teacher, had all of her qualifications stripped from her. She had no choice but to start again. Train from scratch and build a life. She did THAT (and more). One thing about Jamaicans and in particular Jamaican women - we’re really going to figure it TF out! Proud to be a part of this beautiful piece of work, a love letter to the land we love - likkle but we REALLY tallawah!!!!
