Last spring, I made the #hatandpeak by @maxtheknitter just as the weather was starting to warm up. I didn’t get to wear it that much so it made its way into the collection of winter wear and I completely forgot about it. As we enter that time of year where we start to pull out the warmer knits, I was pleasantly surprised to find this in the mix. It will definitely be making many appearances this winter. The pattern calls for sport weight yarn, but I decided to use DK, which made the hat knit up quite quickly! For me, when I knit colorwork, I get so excited to see the pattern start emerging, that I can’t put the project down - this hat was no exception! Choose several of your favorite (or not so favorite, who knows you might surprise yourself) colors and knit this hat up for yourself or as a gift for the holiday!
