Dude. This experience was straight up magic from start to finish. I had the EXTREME pleasure and honor of being asked to conceptualize and direct the music video for the new @elleking banger “Try Jesus.” I said yes (obviously) and I couldn’t be more thrilled with it. Elle is a talent angel who decided to land on the earth, and it was so incredibly fun to do this with her. I hope y’all check it out. I had an off the charts amazing team helping me make this video, and the most kind, smart, and awesome guiding light of all was EP @wesedwards at @thestrangearcade. A truly awesome person and artist. @rogerpistole is a magician DP, @travisbknight impossibly made it all fit into a genuinely fun day, and Sam Wiley is amazingly part creature/part man with a camera. @megan___may is such a gifted art director it’s kind of shocking, and producer @christenpink legit pulled off miracles. The whole day was full of sweethearts (can you spot the cuties from Elle’s band?) and @modernmountain_man and @bella.higginbotham added such special sauce. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone involved!! @elleking, you and @chipdorsch opened a magic portal for me with this. I hope to direct a lot more!!
