Lately I’ve felt like I have been glowing more than ever. ✨
The biggest contributor to that is that I’ve consistently been taking care of myself.
It’s so easy to forget about self care.
We easily pour ourselves into everyone else around us and then wonder why we struggle with feeling vibrant.
Instead of pouring from an empty cup and a place of burn out, I’ve prioritized filling my own cup up first. Now I have more energy, and feel more balanced when I nurture those around me.
Self care can mean many things and is unique to each person, but for me it looks like taking bubble baths, making sure I am hydrated, eating nutrient dense foods free of toxic chemicals and no seed oils, doing things that feel creative like dancing, getting enough sleep, exercise, and my little ritual routines that help me connect to source.
I take extra time when I care for myself. I don’t rush it. Even when I do my morning routine each day, I make sure to give myself extra time so that I’m not just rushing into my day.
It feels so refreshing to make myself a priority. It just takes some practice and consistency, and soon you notice that you wake up feeling like the goddess you know yourself to be. 💜
