FOCUS: SPINAL movement! Moving that spine as much as we can out of traditional path. Moving the spine in different directions moves blood and energy through it so you can function well. Nerves that run to the organs and throughout the body come from the spine— it is important to refresh them with movement so new blood and energy can channel through them to the recipients at the other end of the nerve! I’ve been active all my life, taekwondo for over two decades and boxing for 4 years. Being flexible and mobile is something I’ve always strived for. I move with caution, and aware of my limits, I love pushing myself to my full potential with care. I spend 15-20 minutes just on body movements and dynamic stretching and on off days I go longer. It’s important to include this during your training days for longevity, especially that as we get older our bodies naturally lose mobility and flexibility. Our muscles become stiffer and joints are less flexible and responsive. If you focus on strength, cardio, resistance exercises, you compound the problem. Not only it is important to include mobility in your training but also in your life. 💕🫶🏼 . . . . #spine #movement #wellness #fitness #body #physicaltherapy #tkd #bodymovement #dynamic #stretch #longevity
