I’m 🏳️‍🌈 but I’m also so many other things that make me, ME! When I first came out, labels used to give me SO much anxiety because I felt like I had to pick one and never sway from it. Now I realize I can be queer AND all these other things and that doesn’t take away from who I am as a sapphic woman. Labels are great, but sometimes they put us in too specific of a box that we often forget that people have so much more depth to them than what their label says. They have passions, interests, personal qualities, relationships, people that love them, and so much more. So, just remember that the next time you feel pressure to fit in one box.
