We all collided on a dance floor over a decade ago. Fresh out of high school I stepped into the club and finally found my musical. Over the last few years, we really have gone through it all. The highest of highs and the lowest of lows together and 362 754 selfies later, @hm noticed us. 🥺 Our differences are what brought us together. We didn’t fit in, so we decided to stand out. From that energy a safe space was developed for us to play in - I always feel accepted and safe to be whoever I wanna be. When we were asked to celebrate this magical chosen family of ours, it made me stop and reflect on how lucky I am to have these people beside me. These are the people who know the quiet me behind the not so quiet me on here - who have helped me become the me I am today. It was a beautiful moment that punctuated a period of change in my life. And as I move and step into the world I know I’ve got these angels beside me, annoying me daily, supporting my creative endeavours and encouraging me to be too much.
