Mayor Adams said the Pennsylvania Plaza space surrounding MSG could be a great place for new housing—of which the city is in desperate need. MSG owner James Dolan put over $1 billion into arena renovations several years ago. So in all likelihood, he isn't going anywhere, and the state and city can't force him to move.
