i've not uploaded too many live sets over the years but recently i've been getting quite a lot back and have quite a few i'm proud of. it feels like a good time to share a couple. first off i've got my set from Waterworks from last year, the pressure stage had such an amazing energy and i was playing at my most frenetic. It was super fun to play with a booth full of friends partying and I brought out a lot of secret weapon bangers. I got so many messages about this one and am looking fwd to the next edition of the festival at the weekend. secondly i've got a recording from Saturday at Return To Source in Detroit from earlier in the year, during Movement weekend. Tangent Gallery is one of the best clubs i've played, and it felt monumental for me because I closed the night out after Underground Resistance's new live set. stepping into the booth to follow on from Mike Banks and co in Detroit, was truly one of the surrealist moments i've had DJing. I'm forever grateful to Interdimensional Transmissions for the opportunity to represent my version of techno in this context. both these sets are quite different I'd say... they kind of represent two of the different moods i look to create when DJing. one has a lot of unpredictable feverish energy, and the other something more psychedelic and techno. I increasingly enjoy having these separate spaces with my djing, tapping into different threads depending on vibe/location, hopefully I am always playing something unexpected in between, both for me and anyone listening. anyways enough chat for now, link in the bio to listen!
