Savannah McCauley lived in a truck for a year to pursue a career in adventure photography. She learned that the privilege to electively suffer still comes at a cost. And while it didn’t give her more time with her aunt, it did give her the ability to bloom with a new season, to grow big enough to hold both love and grief simultaneously.
