Forty Five years ago today, I took my first music lesson on violin on the day before my third birthday. I’m proud and humbled by the experiences that have followed. I will spend my birthday tomorrow reflecting on all of this, while especially missing my brother Christopher. Anyone who knew him well knows that he was the best at remembering people’s birthdays, and being in touch on them. Way before cell phones, social media etc ... he would keep a calendar and write everyone’s birthday in that and make sure he kept in touch. I’m going to really miss that call, but he will be in my heart always. Much love to my friends here, people I know personally and virtually. Hug your loved ones, and make each moment count. Love, J
