Last year, I was lucky enough to visit Cali, Colombia, and one of the things that amazed me most was the nature there. One plant in particular caught my attention: Dracaena fragrans, commonly known as the Corn Plant (Palo de Brasil), which always reminded me of the body of some anthropomorphic character. So, I finally had time to experiment with the photo I took, and here is the result. Let me tell you about my process: 1. I took the image I had taken with my cell phone to @adobefirefly My prompt was “Generate a stylized and contemporary version of the reference image based on 19th-century botanical illustration, add volume, make it realistic, 2K quality, add real details.” 2. Then I took the image generated by #Firefly to @adobe @photoshop Beta and went to the Generative Upscale option, chose the ‘Topaz Bloom’ model, increased the creativity to 7, and scaled it to 2x. 3. It should be noted that I first searched for images of that particular plant but couldn’t find anything similar, so I decided to use Firefly. I really liked the result. 4. So I cropped the image and started building my character, which is a mix between a giraffe and human arms with a crown of golden leaves, then created a desert setting in #Photoshop The image is the result of my trip to #Cali, where nature has a spectacular presence throughout the city, so it wasn’t difficult for me to imagine this character in such a beautiful place. Love U Cali 🤍
