a love letter to @eiualphaphi 💌🧸🫶- if you would have told me that i would be in a sorority before i started college i would have laughed in your face… i am the vice president of alpha phi and i can confidently say, going greek was one of the best decisions i have made. the people who mock greek life haven’t experienced the profound thing it is to be a part of something where such deep love and connection is felt with, and for, so many people at once. what a privilege and honor it is to be a part of the alpha phi zeta alpha chapter. it is a privilege i will never take for granted. i have watched women grow into amazing people, met some of the kindest souls in my life to date (girls who are beautiful inside and out), have inside jokes with an entire chapter of women, and always have someone to turn to, thanks to alpha phi. from watching seniors cry at their last preference ceremony, watching unbreakable bonds form between bigs & littles, and most importantly watching the women in my chapter grow into their leadership positions (myself included) while maintaining good grades, volunteering, and so much more; makes me proud to be an alpha phi. with recruitment coming to an end i hope any girl going through recruitment finds their home away from home and gets more out of greek life than the stereotype of “paying for friends” because it is so much more. it truly is profound.
