Summer 🌾 This is a post for all the parents that may be struggling, I always find this half way mark for the holidays hard. Whilst things may look idyllic on social media, it is easy to forget that these are just highlights. The 24hrs reality of small children out of their normal routines is quite different and days can be long. I hit a wall of exhaustion last week after a series of knock-backs and really hard days. It definitely hasn’t been perfect for us this Summer: clashing schedules, bored kids, the back log of life admin I haven’t been able to tackle. Worse are the mountain of plans I thought we would have done by now but haven’t done... which always fills me with guilt.
