The last ski season was unbelievable, magical, and heartbreaking. I was able to ski three countries and have extraordinary friends to enjoy the season with. As it started to snow, I was reminded of all my adventures and incredible experiences. Going through my pictures made me excited start the winter season. But there is a part that will be missing, a part that stood with me at school dances, made fun of me, egged me on to jump off stupid shit, taught me how to snowboard, gave me my nickname, worked for me, watched movies with me while I was broken, made me apply at solitude, threw snowballs at me, tried to pop me out of my skis or board at the top of their chair, and promised(in middle school)that if we were single when we were 40 that we would get hitched. I knew that he would always be there if I needed anything. This winter will be the first winter without you; man, it is the worst. Hug and tell your friends you love them.
