Anita Stewart was a really close friend and mentor. She was always pushing everyone around her to be better and to be a voice for Canadian cuisine. To be a leader in that movement and to inspire others. When she found out we were doing a book, she was so excited, she would call or text me 3-4 times a week with reminders, suggestions and ideas, with guidance and a sneak peek into all the joys and challenges while working towards publishing a cookbook. She was so happy for me and for Langdon Hall. I know Canada misses her dearly, I personally am missing her today as we celebrate the launch of our book especially. I know she would be here right beside me and be glowing as proud as we are. I wish you were here Anita.
