Last night I had the honor of working with the Director + Writer of @tillmovie , which had its world premiere at the #Nyff. Till movie surrounds the story of the Emmett Till Lynching in Mississippi, 1955; This story was told from his mother’s point of view, and let me tell you, as a mother raising a black son, this story will forever break my heart. This film is timely because congress JUST passed the Emmett Till AntiLynching Act THIS YEAR! 67 years later!!🤬😤 Anyway, it’s always a pleasure whenever given the opportunity to collaborate with brilliant women. I love being around people who inspire me, and you, Chinonye Chukwu, are phenomenal. Thank you for handling this story with so much care. 🌹 If you are in the New York City area- see this film at the New York Film Festival.
