Some pieces of art come into your life precisely when you need them and become linked to your heart and artistry because of it. So the production may close, but it’s not the end of a relationship with a piece of art. If it’s a true and honest connection, you’re never really done with it. Or maybe it was fleeting, and all I’ll have to say for it one day when someone brings it up is, “oh yeah I did that play. It was a long time ago. I don’t remember it very well…” But not this piece, not at this moment. What a relief.
