This is the type of project that reminds me why I love my job. Challenging, inspiring, and at the end of the day the missing piece is simple, despite how difficult it was to find. Using the footage from all five spots, I tried to cut this long, short, in every order and combination. No matter what I tried, the vignettes just wouldn’t talk to each other. One night Jason and I were relistening to all the interviews, to see if we missed anything, and we came across these words from @kembaland . It was an instant eureka moment. He was saying exactly what we were trying to communicate visually. Like magic, once we put this quote underneath, everything had context. I still get chills.
