Yesterday was a hard race to process. I have had the best training and performances leading up to this championship but I was unable to deliver and to progress to the final. Sometimes you just fail. There are little to no reasons you can find to conjure why. I just hope I did my country and my support system proud. People have a short memory in this sport. I want to not forget this championship but use it to become better. Thank you to everyone that has sent messages of support! I’ve learnt you’ll be undervalued your entire life. But not by the people that matter.
