heading back into revisions for THE SPACE BETWEEN HERE AND NOW, a book that takes place largely in korea, so naturally i have been thinking a lot about korea. here’s a photo of me in busan circa 2014, the year i was studying abroad in seoul. also the year i learned that a place can become a part of you, can weave its way through your heart the same way you weave through its streets, its back alley restaurants, its view of the sea. it’s the year i learned that home is the map you draw beneath your skin, and korea became a fixture in mine. counting down the days til i visit again in person, but for now, i’m there in my pages
