I have had the WORST traveling luck lately. Anytime I travel solo with Yve it’s a Murphy’s Law Day and I arrive at my destination with one remaining strand of sanity. A very thin, frayed, strand. But every single time I’ve gotten to the @hertz counter, my faith in humanity is restored and they go above and beyond to help a very tired mom not lose her mind. This trip they pulled the car around for me, installed the car seat, packed my bags, warmed up the inside since it was cold and all I had to do was buckle up Yve, adjust my mirrors and go. After a 20hr travel day, it was a life saver. A special thank you to the GM at Hertz Dulles for directing his team to be so kind and my shuttle driver Hanna who would not let me load or offload a single bag - he took care of it all.
