“Chavez” is out now! “Chavez" is definitely the song that has transformed the most from original inception to recording. I began writing it years ago and got excited about its driving nature and how it interacts with a more measured and unordained melodic development. In the hands of Dave King (@googlebully), @jorge_roeder, and @bill.frisell, this song found a home balanced between those worlds. “Chavez" creates an improvisational environment that feels both liberating and integrated to the nature of the song.
