When you watch tonight’s all new #Billions, and subsequent episodes, please hold this: The show would not exist without the crew. I work on camera, on average, three days a week. Sometimes four, rarely five. This is because each episode takes roughly two weeks to film so, I’m not needed every day. But the crew is there 5 (sometimes 6) days a week, most often before and after any of the actors arrive or leave. When I say crew I’m talking about Cai, Patrick, Lenny, Sean, Ariel, Donny and Aaron who make sure what needs to be in focus, i.e. my face, is. Who switch and load the cameras with new lenses between set-ups and set marks down on the floor for the actors. I’m talking about PA's like Olivia, Pedro, Hunter, Matt, Whitney, Zach, and more, who ask us actors to change, send us to hair and make-up, pick up food we get delivered, and invite us to set. PA’s who take our coffee orders and deliver us snacks from crafty because we can’t/don’t want to leave set, among many other things. I’m talking about J.J. who monitors sound and makes sure that our boom operators, Andrew, Luke and Nicola, capture the sounds of the scene which are in addition to managing the body mics we actors wear. I’m talking about Hartley, our continuity script supervisor. Justin, Joe, Karen, Nick, Mike, and Rachel, our AD's who do everything from setting up shots, scheduling and communicating with actors, to being the shocks on set: when things are bumpy you barely feel it. Smooth ride. I’m talking about Sheri, Rosemary, and Alex who take turns covering my neck tattoo. Security: Latif & Eric. Props: Alexis & Peter, to name a few. Costumes: Zinnia and Eric (on set) Jacki and Stas (off-camera), to name a few. Grips and Electricians: George and Jay, to name a few. DP's: Giorgio and Joe. Camera: Jenny, John, Justin & Drew. UPM's: Jake, Debra and Lisa. 2nd team: (Logann!) Technicians, health and safety (Kevin!), locations, production (Mary!), transpo, set dec (Klaudia & Danny!) casting (Allison!), Simone, Ayana, Rose & MORE! Exec Producers: April, Beth, and Mike H.
