If you happen to be in New Mexico the show will be opening tonight! go say hello 👋🏽🪐 Celestial Bodies: Between Heaven and Earth, a multimedia group exhibition is a response to the modern billionaire Space Race, which is primarily taking place in what is currently the “American Southwest”. The exhibition centers different historic and cultural connections to the cosmos, while drawing essential parallels between the space race and the effects of conquest and colonialism. The work in the show underscores cultural connections to outer space while expanding ideas around our physical forms as celestial bodies.
