4 years ago, I had an egg retrieval procedure. The results weren’t what we wanted - we only got three eggs and then one viable embryo. But a month later, I got pregnant with Thomas naturally. And now, I’m growing that sweet little embryo. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s easy to forget how hard and devastating the fertility process is when I’m 34 weeks pregnant. But there were months of disappointment and heartbreak, both during the egg retrieval process and when trying to use the embryo. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The odds were not in our favor to have kids but here we are. And despite how dang hard this pregnancy has been, I’m so so grateful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re going through the shots and the patches and the the unknown and the heartbreak, know that I’m sending love your way.
