It’s always amazing to me what you can see at night 👀 🌙 🔦 . Wether you’re on a night dive or a hike in the rainforest, your entire focus is limited to the beam of your headlamp, sometimes allowing you to see more things easily missed in the daytime. Observing eye shine is how we’ve spotted most animals on the trails around @evaccfoundation. On most nights, we’ve gone out at night to hike up small streams, waterfalls, and forest trails to see what we could find. Surprisingly, finding butterflies sleeping at night has been quite good! After a downpour of rain, the chorus of glass frogs and red eyes seem to come from every direction. Amid all of the green foliage, brilliant orchids, passifloras, and Gurania tubulosa flowers (pictured first) appear so vivid like 🔥 in the view of our headlamps.
