14 weeks pregnant with this little girl 🌊 every night our family cuddles up to tales of heroic courage + wholesome stories. the world, when focused upon, can seem so dark that eliminating distractions and entertaining our minds with beauty has been so life giving. it’s harder— I’ve realized. it’s easy to numb out, to find entertainment, to find easy options. thanks be to childhood for reminding parents that innocence is something to be pursued + protected. that we get to remember it’s not just mindfulness for them, but also for the sanctity of our thought patterns! that our minds get renewed by dwelling on what is lovely too. beautiful minds for beautiful lives 🦋
