man where do i begin... Hueytown baseball for the past 14 years has been my life. everyday was dedicated to a bigger dream that didn't come true until earlier this year where i signed to the next level of baseball. i can still remember my mom tying my cleats before every game at the park when i was a kid. i can remember dad always coaching and being harder on me than anyone else. i can remember my first team with vince, ashton and rhett. i can remember pulling the back of my pants over my cleats and thinking i was a stud. i can remember winning the dizzy dean world series. i can remember going to cooperstown new york to play. i can remember jumping into school ball my 7th grade year. coach evans moved me to third base and i fell in love with it. so for the next 2 years hueytown middle school was my home. i can remember the camp the summer before my freshman year coach patterson telling me i would be a starter for the next 4 years. i can remember when covid shortened my sophomore year and we played 12 games. i can remember coach patterson passing away in the fall of my juniors year. and i can remember the feeling of playing my last high school baseball game and walking off the field for the last time. my last game ever with the name HUEYTOWN on the chest. for the past 14 years i knew the day was coming where Hueytown baseball wasn't my home anymore. that day is here. and for it to be some of the greatest times of my life the ending to it is worth the pain because i wouldn't trade those 14 years for anything. i wouldn't take back the memories along the way or the people i've met. i would like to say thank you to god first for all the talents i've been blessed so greatly with. secondly to my parents, to mom for being the biggest supporter in the world and to dad for being the best coach and mentor out there. i would like to thank my sisters for always being there even though i rarely come to cheer stuff lol. thank you brailey for being my biggest fan for my last season (happy 9 months too🥰). thank you to my teammates for always having my back no matter what. thank you to the city of hueytown for the past 18 years of my life. its been the ride of a lifetime #10out
