@experimentsinopera’s “Everything For Dawn,” a made-for-TV opera series, kicks off tonight on ALL ARTS! In the first episode, Dawn (@britt.hew) returns home in the morning after tripping on acid at an all-night rave. She discovers that her mother, Gloria (@sishelmabelle) has rented out their spare bedroom to Carla, a stranger. Featuring original music from ten composers and librettos from a six-person Writers’ Room, the ten-part opera is a coming-of-age story following a teenage Dawn who must come to terms with her father Mac (@aaron_engebreth)’s suicide.
