🌅 Above the Clouds Sunset Hunt, Bonfire at the Peak & Full Moon Night Hike with Lebanon by Nature 📆 Date: SATURDAY August 13th, 2022 📍 Location: Tele Liban Canal 11, Mount Knayseh, Falougha 💪🏻 Difficulty level: Above Moderate ⏱️ Hike distance: ~14Km (~7 hours including bonfire break) ⏫⏬ Elevation Gain/Loss: +480 / -550m 🕖 Bus departure time from Beirut (Hadath): 3:00pm 🕖 Bus expected return time to Beirut: ~11:59pm 📜 Description: Are you ready for some challenge this weekend? We will start our adventure from the Cedars forest in Falougha where the first Lebanese flag was raised then proceed towards the Knayseh Mountain until we reach the historical Tele Liban Canal 11 building that was bombarded and partially destroyed during the war. During our hike, the views of the Kaysamani lake as well as the landscape scenery of both Maten and Bekaa valley will leave you amazed. At the Mount Knayseh summit, we will have a long break during which we will witness a magical sunset above the clouds and enjoy a long bonfire break at the peak with some tea (don’t forget to bring your bonfire snacks). We will then watch a full moon rise and begin our night hike adventure heading down toward the Falougha/Kfarselwan lakes where we will end our journey. You will have enough time for some really cool photos and stories during our scheduled stops (don’t forget to tag Lebanon_by_nature for a repost).
