The best part of my Señora era has been starting a little beauty garden from scratch in our SoCal ranchito. El jardín del año pasado is winding down and now it’s time to plant the fall garden. I’m starting first with herbs because that’s the easiest and then move to verduras and I really want to upgrade my jardín the belleza. Sabias que you can plant a “beauty garden” and actually make your own skincare? It’s been one of my favorite Señora era activities this year. I have made creams, bath botanicals for the baby, salves, tinctures and so much more. It’s as easy as planting things like lavender, chamomile, and lemon verbena. You can grab seedlings from your local garden shop or buy seeds on Etsy. It’s also fun to join neighborhood Facebook groups because people often give away cuttings or plants! Your beauty jardin can be big or little, and you can create a whole flowerbed for it or you can just mix them into your existing beds.
