• Social Distancing • Using my Vespa, I rode around New York to ask friends/fellow freelancers/artist if I can take their portrait from a sidewalk using a telephoto lens. As someone who runs multiple businesses simultaneously, loves party hopping and nonstop traveling, this was an eerily unfamiliar cold snap of silence & stillness. An exercise in being patient. The ultimate reset button. Unexpected and startling. Knowing several frontline heroes and more who have lost loved ones to Covid-19 the gravity and severity of the crisis is palpable to those of us that are not turning away from it or ignoring it. Turning towards the reality of the pandemic provides an opportunity to put self aside and take part in triage for the greater good. Prioritize what matters. Together united by mission we are stronger.
