💎This is a Missy Elliot Exclusive 💎 During this class, I wasn’t feeling myself. I try to exude as much confidence as I can but some days it’s harder to do so. This class, I purposefully put myself in the back, struggling a bit to retain the Choreo just because I wasn’t 100% focused. Then @itsemmarosa stopped the class to call out the fact that if you put yourself in a space to hide, you’re only hurting yourself as an artist. Whether or not she saw me finding my way to the back to “hide” every two seconds or it was just a general statement, I felt it was for me to hear in that moment. She then gave me this opportunity for a solo.
