Pappardelle with Italian sausage and Parmigiano sauce 1​​​box Barilla Pappardelle 2​​​tbs Olive oil 1​​​small onion, chopped 400​​​gr Italian sausage, mild, casing off 1/2​​​cup dry white wine 20​​​oz tomato “passata” 2​​​cup beef broth TT​​​salt and black pepper 2​​​tbs butter 1⁄2​​​cup Parmigiano cheese, grated Place a pot of water to boil. Meanwhile In a skillet sauté onion with olive oil until translucent, about five minutes over medium heat. Add sausage and brown well over medium high heat, about ten minutes. Stir in wine and reduce well. Add tomatoes and one broth, bring to boil and season with salt and pepper, simmer for 20 minutes or until sauce is perfectly reduced.
