In Ukraine, Team Rubicon Greyshirt Dr. Steve Donnelly trained 135 medical providers in the use of a handheld point of care ultrasound (POCUS) probe called the Butterfly iQ+. By guiding them through how to diagnose life threatening injuries in the pre-hospital setting utilizing the eFAST methodology, he supported physicians’ ability to evaluate trauma in the lungs, heart, and abdomen.
