this month marks my 1-year anniversary of living in new york! it’s been the longest & shortest year of my life. when i uprooted myself from a wonderful life in LA a year ago, i told my mom there were “versions of myself i hadn’t tried yet.” so far, this version is pretty cool! near the beginning, honestly, there were times when i was scared i’d never feel happy here, and now i’m pretty damn close. no matter what happens next, I’m excited to be living in what is essentially a big, dirty, expensive playground with some of my best friends in the whole world. if you’re thinking about going somewhere, go! why not!
