Starting a summer Sunday morning right here. 🌊 ☀️ ⚓️ June means morning swims & coconut SPF, salty air & the first tan lines, a trip to the farmer’s market for garden state tomato’s, al fresco dinners & outdoor showers. Our #capemaycottage project kitchen meant reimagining the original galley style kitchen so it could be opened to the rest of the home, not hidden away. With an island to seat six & plenty of storage. Keeping the features that make this space so charming; the original cottage casement windows let in the salty air, the cabinets freshened with a coat of powder blue paint & new hardware- {I just couldn’t imagine brand new cabinets feeling so at home here} an unexpected touch of bright pink on the kitchen door that leads to the outdoor space. An under used closet became the perfect spot for a coffee station. We tiled, added shelving & plumbing for a pot filler to make making your morning cup a breeze. ☕️ Be sure to swipe to the very end for the before photos
