"In their gravity-free concatenation of found and fabricated imagery, Huffman's works echo, to a degree, the look and feel of Robert Rauschenberg's so-called 'flatbed picture plane,' which in the words of the critic Leo Steinberg, who coined the term, is, '... any receptor surface on which data is entered, on which information may be received, printed, impressed—whether coherently or in confusion.'
