What a whirlwind of a weekend showing dahlias for the first time with @sfdahliasociety! FYI, you can join them and help with these shows too. The room was overflowing with spectacular blooms from all over the city and the state but even more with so many people excited to learn about and witness the parade of blooms. Some of my favorite moments - watching seasoned growers work all night preparing one-of-a kind blooms for display, sharing my exhibits with friends, celebrating Pat’s 84th birthday, and meeting others just starting out on their dahlia growing adventure. I just might have spotted some flowers I’ll hope to try growing @sisterhoodgardens next year!
