The last thing my grandpa said to me was “i love you, see you tomorrow. bye bye.” He said this knowing i was halfway across the country, working my hardest to make him proud. I believe that our souls will cross again one day, and he was reminding me that goodbyes are never definite. I will always have his love in my heart. I know he is looking down on me now, with a jack daniel’s (pepsi on the side) in his hand, watching me become the granddaughter he always planned for me to be. I promise i’ll make you proud, and live the life that you always hoped I would have. Your body is at rest and your soul is at peace. It’s a very hard loss for the family, but I know you would make fun of me for crying and be sad, and would rather me drink in your honor and party it up. I love you always and forever and even if I can’t see you tomorrow, I’ll see you when the time is right. Thank you for being the most amazing grandfather I could ever ask for. 🤍🕊️
