Best time to visit Moorea is May to October. ༄ HOW TO GET THERE? Fly into Tahiti (PPT), taxi to Ferry Terminal and take either Aermiti or Terevau ferry to Moorea. One way tickets are around $13-15 USD and the ride is approx 30-45 mins. There is also an option for a 10 min plane ride from PPT via Air Tahiti but the ferry option will be much cheaper. ༄ HOW TO GET AROUND? Rent a car. It’s so much more convinient to explore the island with your own car not to mention, taxis are approx $25 USD regardless of destination distance. There are only two rental companies on the island: Avis and Europcar. Note: if you prefer not to rent a car, many restaurants offer pick up with reservations. ༄ WHERE TO STAY? If you have always dreamt of staying in an overwater bungalow, Moorea is the place to do so at a fraction of the cost than that of Bora Bora! We LOVED our stay at @hiltonmoorea and couldn’t reccomend enough!
