Last Saturday I had the privilege/honor of getting to bring two new original characters to life (Violet and Frederick) with the help of @jimmysherfy and @that.smiley.princess for a wonderful party request!!! A few years ago I dreamed up Rosaline for a “pink fairy” party request and over the years I’ve developed a fun backstory for her. One of Rosaline’s human friends named Aviva had Rosaline attend her 5th birthday party, and then throughout the Covid lockdowns they frequently talked to one another through Zoom 🥰 For her 7th birthday, Rosaline surprised her in person at her house, and now this year for her 8th, Aviva asked to meet Rosaline’s best friends that she always talks about!!! I couldn’t be more excited about how this characters story has unfolded over the years, but the fact that I got to actually bring my bff fairies to a party with me blew me away! I have big plans to write a children’s book about both Rosaline and Fern (another OC fairy character I hang out with!) and the adventures they have with their fairy friends.
