out today is ‘Live From Blackalachia’ by @moses Sumney. when he first spoke to me about a live performance release I, naively, presumed it would be a standard body of work...but as always with Moses it became a force of it’s own, it took on it’s own meaning. Total reworks and reimagining’s of songs I had been so fortunate to mix before, in a new way. It was incredible to revisit them in this fresh light. For me it’s wild that this whole performance has no overdubs, no edits, it is all taken from the live footage. The performances of Moses and his incredible band are nothing short of flawless.
