Master in Fine Arts in ACTING, baby! 🎭 . I’ll never forget when I decided to do this. My parents were... alarmed, to say the least. “You DON’T want to be a doctor..?” I knew I’d have to be so sure I loved it, because there’d be no ✨going ✨back. ✨ These last 4 years have contained every single emotion in the lexicon. Sleepless all nighters getting lines down for the 5th scene of the week, incredible melancholy from sitting with the weight of the world a character bears, hilarious embarrassment for not going past even a MINUTE during a scene presentation and getting notes every other second cuz I was just not GETTING HOW TO DO THE DARN THING! But goodness me... what a sweet journey. I want to go back and hug nervous but brave Anita for plunging in. Courageous ignorance is a funny and powerful thing. . . So much love to my teachers (especially @jamescalleri for seeing potential— even after my sh*tty callback), my classmates (holy wow, my classmates, my comrades🤍), my family (for finding and then keeping faith in me), Dalia(see vid where she vocally and physically expresses her relief in me graduating and no longer having to bear my woes!) and @potusbway (for helping me celebrate my graduation and this mind-boggling amazing first gig out of school).
