the other day someone told me my page was really negative and i said “that’s ok!! i’m not for everyone!” and my teenage self heaved a huge sigh of relief because that’s a lifelong journey of unlearning needing to be liked by most and performing for acceptance or feeling the need to over-explain myself to hopefully be liked by the end of it. fuck that. I’m not for everyone THANK GOODNESS. i can’t and won’t bend that much anymore and god it feels good.
