Today is the 13 yr anniversary of Bullets vol.3 so I felt like sharing a story that is very close to me 📓 I remember working on this project for a year straight all day & night with NIP... Anyone who worked with nip over the years knows that he would take his time with each song. Sometimes laying a few bars a day, sometimes a few bars a day & then coming back to the song a month later to add a few more bars till it was perfect. In this case the magic happened same night...I’ll never forget when I played him the beat for “Strapped”. It was his 1st time in nyc w me, He went crazy he didn’t believe I made the beat at 1st 😂 I had made it with him in mind it was Some grimy bare strings, a raw bassline & drums it felt west coast but it was really east coast inspired mobb deep vibes. He did the record same night & @cobbysupreme1 hopped on the hook. Next day we went uptown & shot the video. One of the greatest moments in my career as a producer 💯 LLNH miss u brother 🏁🤞©️💨
