Cover and bake for 2 hours. Separate the oil and the garlic. Let both completely cool down before you close it with a lid and then you can either refrigerate for 1 week or freeze for 3 months. I use the garlic confit for lots of different things like pasta sauce, salad dressing, garlic aioli and more! The garlic oil can be used to sauté veggies or even to drizzle on top of salads.
