As we are settling into our new home after a year and a half of various challenges, I have been allowing myself to feel the joy and excitement of finally reaching what felt like the biggest milestone of a life time. Today I woke up with a visceral feeling of pain of what it might feel like to lose your home in a war. A visceral feeling of what it must feel like for those millions who had to leave their homes, in a rush, with an aching heart, for those whose homes have been destroyed or occupied by the invader! It is unbearably terrifying and a sense of injustice is so strong it’s almost nauseating. So I wanted to send love to all those people who are currently away from their homes, not knowing when they can come back! I am thinking of two friends in particular, and of every refugee of this horrendous war at the same time. As a coincidence, our home was built by a wonderful team of builders from Ukraine, who started their work way before the war.
