I wanna hug 7 yr old Shey and tell her: she marries the guy who tells her she’s beautiful every morning (in the wee hours of the morning, where her hair is still stuck to her face ), & who gazes at her in awe when she downs a ribeye to herself and ultimately leads her to Jesus. and that they have 3 beautiful kids; that teach her so many of life’s lessons. I wanna tell her that her 8 yr old son taught her how to tear down prideful walls and to have the humility to be the first one to apologize… her 6 yr old daughter taught her to let loose and embrace creativity in all its forms, without a care in the world… and her 4 yr old baby boy taught her how to take risks and be courageous… I wanna tell her that it was all gonna be okay in the end❤️that every detail in the past, was knit together for this very moment.
